I’m Elaine and I’ve been part of the Tullochan Team for four years now. When I first came to Tullochan I was part of the Primary project which ran afterschool clubs in Clydebank. I then moved into the Heads Up team where we supported pupils in the second year of high school. I am now part of the Tullochan Futures project and work with young people between the ages of 16 and 24. Our aim is to help young people move into employment or training. We deliver group work sessions over an ten week period and during that time we help develop self confidence and enhance skills. It’s not all hard work though, we do lots of team building exercises and this often involves us challenging ourselves and facing our fears. I have to say this is what I love the most. So if I’m not in the office or the training room you will probably find me half way up a cliff or taking part in some other crazy sport. I have a great job and the best bit is that I get to meet lots of amazing people.

Hi I’m Jenny.  I’ve been working as a Youth Development worker with Inspiring Scotland for three years now.  Tullochan not only allows me to help support the young people we work with in whatever manner they need it but also allows me to learn new skills which has helped me to develop as a worker.

Hello there, my name is Mel and I have been a part of Tullochan since 2013. I first started in Tullochan when I was a student and came here for my placement; but I loved it so much I got a full time job! My favourite thing to do is go out for dinner because I absolutely love food! I also love to go holiday; mainly because I love sun – and let’s face it, we won’t get any here. I have an extreme fear of spiders and any insect for that matter… which does not help when we go on outdoor residentials!!

I have worked for Tullochan since March 2007. Throughout my time with Tullochan I have had the opportunity to work within many of the projects allowing me to work with a mix of young people aged 11 to 18. Over the years I have delivered may different awards including the ’John Muir  ‘ASDAN Award’, ‘Youth Achievement Award’ and Dynamic ‘Youth Award’ and am currently working with young people on their SQA awards on Well-being, Personal Development and Employability. I enjoy working within the schools and working with a wide range of young people. During my free time I enjoy regular hill walks and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am very interested in art and especially enjoy sketching and drawing and spend any free time I have to myself working on sketches. I feel it is important to have a good family and work life balance to ensure a healthy lifestyle.

Hi I’m Lynsey and I just started working for Tullochan in June 2015. Previously I worked with primary school and nursery children so this is a different challenge but one which I’m looking forward to! In my spare time I enjoy listening to music and going to different gigs and festivals. I am also a huge movie fan and love anything that will make me laugh or have me terrified!

Hello! My Name is Craig and I’ve been working for tullochan since November 2014. In my time working for tullochan I’ve went from a part time position and worked my way up to a full time youth development worker. I have met hundreds of young people and loved every minute working with them. Making bonds with the young people that tullochan works for makes all the hard work so so worth it. Looking forward I am on target to becoming an SQA assessor, and am working hard on bringing as much as I can to the third year program.

Hello I’m Antoni, I recently started working for Tullochan around August 2016 having attained a job through the Tullochan Futures Project and have enjoyed every second of it. The project that I work mainly in is the Tullochan Futures Project where I help youths enhance their skills and knowledge and help my colleagues in the school groups which I also attended when I was still at school. A few words to describe myself would be that I am easy-going, caring as well as having a good sense of humour. I look forward to meeting a wide range of amazing people and if there is anything I can help with don’t be afraid to ask.
